Gradient Logos: Color Blends That Pop on Screens

Design gradient logos with smooth 2 to 3 color blends that glow on apps and websites.

Gradient Logos: Color Blends That Pop on Screens

Why gradients dominate digital brands

Gradients blend 2 to 3 vivid colors across 100 to 300 pixels, creating depth without shadows. App icons and fintech brands love them because blends stand out on white feeds. Keep the angle at 45 degrees for a natural light feel.

When generating the logo online, preview the blend on both white and dark mode backgrounds. Mid tones should keep at least 50 percent brightness to avoid muddy edges. Test at 64 pixels to catch banding before final export.

Gradient rules for clean results

Limit blends to 3 color stops with 30 percent distance between each stop. Purple to pink, blue to teal, and orange to red convert best, lifting clicks by up to 25 percent. Avoid 4 stop rainbows that look cheap and noisy.

Always build a flat 1 color fallback for print, fax, and embroidery use. Keep text white or black over gradients for 70 percent contrast. Save the gradient as a vector mesh so it scales cleanly to 4K screens.
