Craft Twitch badges at 800 pixels with emote sizes of 112, 56, and 28 pixels chat loves.
Badges chat loves to spam
Twitch panels show logos at 320 pixels wide, while chat emotes shrink to 28 pixels on desktop and 24 on phones. Simple faces with 8 pixel outlines and 2 colors survive best, earning 35 percent more spam than detailed 10 color art.
When you make your logo online for Twitch, design the 800 pixel master first, then export 112, 56, and 28 pixel emotes. Test each size in dark chat with 50 lines scrolling, since low contrast drops visibility by 40 percent.
