One-color logo version: fax, embroidery test

Design a one-color logo that passes fax, embroidery and engraving with solid blacks and clean lines.

One-color logo version: fax, embroidery test

Black and white truth test

One color versions strip gradients and use solid black on white or reversed white on black. If marks read at 100 pixels wide with 4 pixel strokes, they survive fax machines from 1995 and modern laser engravers.

Embroidery needs lines thicker than 2 millimeters and text taller than 8 millimeters to stitch cleanly. If you make your logo online, export solid black plus white copies at 2000 pixels for vendors in 24 hours.

Fax and thread proof details

Remove shadows under 15 percent opacity and thin gaps below 3 pixels that fill with ink. Test single color at 1 inch wide on paper and 3 inches on twill to catch fills before ordering 200 shirts.

Keep vector masters with Pantone Black C for jobs over 500 copies lasting 7 years. Archive AI, EPS and SVG plus PNG at 1024 pixels so any shop reproduces crisp results in under 48 hours.
